24″ x 36″ Portrait of Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump, mounted on foam core. The face and hat themselves were made in watercolor and acrylic, while the beard was made with 1044 black push pins arranged in flowing directions.
This piece was chosen and exhibited in the 2018 Student Showcase at the Emmanuel Gallery in downtown Denver.
